The second volume of this multivolume commentary on the Gospels opens with the beginning of Yeshua's public ministry. It analyzes the role His miracles were to play as signs to Israel ‚ to bring the Jewish people to the point of decision about His Messianic claims and proclamations. The work moves on the dealing with Yeshua's authority over, conflict with, and repudiation of Pharisaic Judaism, which led to the rejection of His Messiahship. It is in this context that a specific generation of Israel became guilty of the unpardonable sin. This is followed by Yeshua's new focus on the training of His disciples for the work they would need to conduct in light of the rejection ‚Äì the kind of work they would be performing in the book of Acts. Dr. Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum roden je u Rusiji nako što su mu roditelji bili pušteni iz komunistićkog zatvora. Uz pomoć izraelskog podzemlja, obitelj mu jue uspjela pobječi kroz Zeljeznu zavjesu. Fruchtenbaum je od 1947. do 1951. godine u Njemačkoj primio ortodoksno židovsko obrazovanje.
Zatim je njegova obitelj s njime iselila u New York. Dr. Fruchtenbaum je utemeljitelj i ravnatelj udruženja Ariel Ministiries sa sjedištem u Tustinu (Kalifornija, SAD).
Studio je na koledu Cedarville Collegeu u svaznoj državi Ohio, položio magisterij teologije (Th.M) na teološkom fakultetu Dallas Theological Seminary (Texas) i doktorat filozofije (Ph.D) na sveučilištu New York University. Jedan dio studija položio je na Židovskom teološkom fkultetu u New York, kao i na Hebrejskom sveučilištu u Jeruzalemu.
